It's always a good time to send a thoughtful greeting card to someone who's going through a difficult patch.
This card begins with the digital image from Conie Fong, called "Butterfly Daisy Bundle" available at https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/772101414/
I coloured her dress and flowers in a lovely dark shade of teal, using Copic Markers T8 BG78 BG49 and BG45. Rather than going for the streaky filaments of hair look, I blended soft shades of brown using E59 E37 E35 E34 E31.
Funny story...I thought that she was wearing gloves, so I coloured her hands in a dark pink. Only during the colouring process did I realise that she wasn't wearing gloves. By then, it was too late! I had to just go with it.
The rest of the colours are:
Pinks: R37 R35 R32 R30 R000
Black: 100 T8
Skin: E04 E02 E01 E00 E000 E0000
Background: BG11 BG000 BG70
White gel pen for dots
Colourless blender
Black fine point marker for dots
Mounting it on a card in a scalloped oval feature, I added a sentiment from Stampin' Up, pearl dots and some floral background paper that I once got from a crafting magazine, coloured with Copics R30 and R000.
The die set used for the ovals was from Ultimate Crafts - Telopea Waratah.
Finally, the flowers used came from a stash found at a garage sale many years ago. I coloured the pink ones with matching Copics, glued them all on and then used Nuvo Dream drops, spreading it around in a circular shape in the centre of each flower. While the Nuvo was still wet, I sprinkled white/clear fine glitter over each flower and tapped off the excess.
Card complete! Use it as a Thank you or for Sympathy card. It's for sale here at https://www.sandrascards4u.com/product-page/pink-promise
