This lovely image from the "Easter Bunny Gnome and Sentiment Bundle" by #ConieFongArt is intended for Easter time. It's a little gnome with a couple of furry bunny rabbit friends! Click here to view it in her shop!

Naturally, I wanted to 'break the rules' and use it for a completely different occasion.
Looking at it, I thought I'd create a forest scene. Maybe this gnome is visiting friends? Maybe he's stumbled across a fluffle of rabbits while he was out on a walk?
Yes, a fluffle is the correct term for a group of rabbits...did you know that?
I coloured it while I was still a guest designer.

Copic marker colours were:
Beard: C4 C3 C1 C00
Orange: YR12 YR14
Skin: E01 E00 E0000
Dark Greys: W7 W5 W3 W1 W00
Bunny ears: E29 E37 E34
Bunnies: E55 E53 E51 E50
Gnome green: G46 BG99 G94 YG61 G43
Grass/trees: BG99 G94 G43 YG61 YG11 G40 YG0000
Extras used on background trees: W3 W1 W00 BG90 BG93
Blender and Black fine-liner
I pencilled in the trees on either side edge and then filled in a bit of background trees by hand. I coloured them too, using the same green shades, and then used my black fine-liner pen to scribble on some detail.
After cutting my colouring down to size, I mounted it on a card.

I'm not sure what journey this gnome was on, so I think I'll leave that decision up to you!
Maybe it's a journey with a Friend, thinking about someone's Retirement or perhaps Farewelling someone who's moving on to 'greener pastures'.
I added the footprint stamp using my distress oxides and coated them with glossy accents.
Thus...the alternative forest gnome card was born!
