It all started with a mis-print...
I wanted to colour another Conie Fong image and thought I'd have a go at 'Ella Fleur".
You can find this digital image for sale in Conie Fong's Etsy shop. Here's the link:
This is such a gorgeous image, and I had an idea to give her auburn hair. I love auburn hair!
It turned out that I had a bit of free time to make a video or two, so I created a combination of live and pre-recorded videos. Each of them showed the next steps in colouring Ella. On the way through, I asked for input on colours to use.
The end result, after days of section-colouring, was lovely.
Check out the card I made, utilising the turquoise colour!
Copic markers were used, specifically:
Hair: E49 E18 E19 E08 E97
Turquoise: BG18 BG07 BG15 BG45 BG78
Skin: E04 E02 E01 E0 E00 E000 E0000
Eyes: YG17 YG01 YG000
Lipstick and flower: RV69 RV66 RV55 RV63 RV52
White: C2 C0 C00
Yellow: E97 Y13
I collated my videos into a single file and sped it up a bit...
Like the sentiment on the card, I hope something in this blog post has inspired you!
